PSA: Generals can drop Timeless Jewels when they appear in maps

Man I love having a game developer around who doesn't spell out each and everything in the new update for us

now if only there were a way to tell there was a general so you could go focus them down - other than running from one end of the army battle to another.

it'll be a big QOL when they update to showcase the general a little more. IMO a voice command, so that knowing the voices of each you can then determine which army they're from and thus which side to run to first

Yeah, general visibility is a big issue. In a t16 map I still manage to unlock 90% of generals, but those 10% would be solved if they just made a little map icon for locked generals.

There is not really a point in killing generals other than the maraketh/templar one since all they can drop is basic loot and splinters worth 1/100 of a chaos orb.

I wonder if the jewel drop was a bug.

doubt its a bug. you can get breach uniques from breaches

Hard to say, but the theory in the reddit thread seems to check out. The ilvl for the jewels (markareth) dont seem to match with the timeless battles.

Unless the entire drop table for this specifically rare jewel is bugged.
