Flame dash inconsistently has a non-instant cast time

Title. Flame dash sometimes works correctly and has its instant cast, but maybe 1/3 - 1/2 of the time it has a cast time and your character does the slowish windup that flame dash had prior to 3.7. This seems to happen more frequently if you are moving in a direction (have your mouse pressed) when you hit flame dash. If you take your finger off the mouse button when you cast it this doesn't seem to happen.

Noticing this as well. After playing with it for a bit I can reliably replicate the non-instant cast:

Using a charge of flame dash before another charge has filled, regardless of amount of charges left, will result in the delayed old-style cast animation instead of the new instant one.
Personnally I don't have any issue with Flame Dash. You may be refering to an intented behavior: if you do not use flame dash in a while, using flame dash is instant. However, if you use flame dash twice in a row, the second one will have a cast animation. This is intended. You have to wait for about 1 second for Flame Dash to be instant again.

This is intended. Most movement skills are now instant when you first use them, but have an attack/cast time when used consecutively.
There's a delay before it's instant again, this delay is reduced by increasing your attack/cast speed based on the skill you're using.
