3 to 1 map upgrade.. the myth

I know, I know. Maps have been dropping like crazy (some say they are nerfed now), but I've found it odd that rarely can I ever upgrade my three maps of the tier under it, directly connected to it.
Just an observation as I've looked to fill in the gaps in my atlas. I used to actually enjoy upgrading my maps into other maps because it saved me 10 minutes of messaging people. |

The recipe still works for me:
3x t2 Armoury Map
results in 1x t3 Pen Map
 Are you just saying you're sad that you're unlucky that the Maps you're dropping all do 3-to-1 vendors laterally? (i.e. 3x T3 to 1x a different T3)? Need game info? Check out the Wiki at: https://www.poewiki.net/

The vendor recipe of 3 tier N maps for 1 tier N+1 map no longer works except for the current generation of maps. Older generation of maps will instead give you 3 tier N maps of the latest generation of maps.
This change was made just prior to the 3.7 release. edit: Perhaps I should mention one can still use the same map upgrade technique to fill in gaps in one's map pool but only in the latest generation map pool. Which is the important pool. Just upgrade the maps to the latest generation first. Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! Just take 4 or 5 of them and swap them around in the vendor window until it offers the one you want.
Alternatively sell 6 and you'll get both N+1 maps. (alt/transmuting the base map doesnt change what the vendor offers). |
