Damage on Full life - Clarification

Hi
This gem only has the tags "attack" and "support" but according to wiki we know it also affects stuff like totems and in that case it relates to the player's life, not the totem's.

How does it work with minions?
Is it based on the player's life as well?

And caster minions like phantasms?
As per PoB, damage on full life affects the minion's spell as long as the minion is on full life.
Can someone confirm this?
