Close combat inconsistency and/or not same weapon dual wield issue

Close combat support seems to work inconsistently. In most of the times it disables the skill it supports. I have now issue with Dual Strike and daggers, but I have had the same issue with other char with DW and flicker when weapons were not the same (didn't test it more there, assumed that there was some hidden weapon type requirement left after removing it from tool tip). If I change weapons to 1 sword, it is still grayed out, for 2 swords it works. But yesterday when testing I managed to get it working also for 1 sword, 1 dagger, just by taking out gems putting in different slots and linking in different order. At first I thought that it is some bug that both weapons have to be same, but if it doesn't work with 2 daggers then I don't know what is the issue here. I tried putting in different skill gems next to Close combat - Dual Wield, Flicker Strike, Frost Blades - they all are disabled with DW daggers. I added them next to Close Combat, Ancestral Call, Added Cold damage, but taking out CC enables them. P.S. I checked that I have no skills/auras that make any minions. The fact that it can't be used with Daggers is not a bug. It says it right in the tooltip of close combat that supported skills can only be used with Sword and Axes.

ok, they added this in the tooltip now. This clears it up mostly.
