I have been playing this build. Most fun character i have played. Leveling and maps so far are a breeze w pretty crap gear for me. Mapping faster than any character so far. I will push this to end game for sure
Played this build as league starter. Mapping was fun and easy. Killed uber elder. The fight was kinda hard, but that's because I didn't invest that much and used some passives to get the instant warcry.
Shaper dps was just ~900k (3x310k).

~3 million shaper dps (1 per totem) and it's not even counting the shock from Yoke's. I'm not sure how high the multiplier is in this damage range that's why I left it off in PoB. But the dps should be higher.
I'm sure this can be further optimised.

Played this for the most of Legion. Works ok, damage is good, but lacks survivability even with about 7k life.




Started with Quill Rain, that was ok until guardians. Killing wasn't just fast enough. Crafted bow fixed that, which of course is much slower with attack speed, so I feel like either chain or pierce is needed for clearing packs quickly enough. Fortunately Skirmish with chain was cheap this league, as were the other items.

Wanted to do something useful with Mortal Conviction as there was no need to worry about reservation multiplier from supports. Figured that Blasphemy with Inc AoE, Enhance and Empower could work. But even Temporal Chains there didn't help enough with the survivability. Eternal Empire slammers hit from outside the curse area, with extra damage mods they were lethal.

And oh yeah, dual curse for applying something also manually.

The Gripped gloves probably aren't the best option, attack speed on any gloves should bring more DPS as the build already has so much % increased damage. But I wanted to have high chaos res, so was limited with affix options. Also needs a lot of dex from items (short bow base would be better there).

Killed Uber Elder twice, although with the last portal on both times. My playing skills do suck, but the build is still capable to do pretty much all content.

For Elemental Hit totems, I still would think that the Hierophant build could be better. Acrobatics+Phase could bring the needed evasion. No idea how well Hiero will be in 3.8 with the mana changes, but this Chieftain option should work as earlier.

And after playing this to 94 I had so much extra currency that I couldn't figure how to improve this build, I made a Cycloner which was so much better in everything...
