It is better than my PC. I usually have 100+ FPS at 1080p with medium/high grahp, but rarely FPS drops to <10. Uber Elder still lags (unexplainable because i have best NVMe available for home systems atm).
retired from forum because of censorship and discrimination
(also poe2 bad) |

Seriously dude? That laptop is better than probably 50% of what most desktop PoE players are using.
Yes. That thing will play PoE just fine. On high. With AA enabled. Edit: Install PoE on the SSD. Last edited by diablomix#4350 on Jun 3, 2019, 4:35:04 PM

" ok. i was asking because people say laptops hardware is far weaker than desktop counter parts and PoE optimization being what it is i was afraid to waste money on it |

PoE is almost entirely GPU reliant at least on resolutions greater 1080P.
RTX 2060 is freakishly good even compared to a gtx 1080ti for 1/3rd the price. I doubt you will have issues. https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-2060-6GB-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1080-Ti/4034vs3918 IGN: Arlianth

" The upside with a gaming desktop (with similar specs) is cooling. That laptop will get hot, which over time can cause issues. An issue you won't have to worry about with a gaming PC. But if you really need a laptop that machine has great specs. If you haven't bought it yet seek out reviews to see how it handles cooling over long gaming sessions. Edit: I bring this up because i've owned a few gaming laptops and even the latest generation tend to throttle the GPU & CPU when things get too toasty. It can be a little distracting when 3 hours into a game your laptop decides its too hot and performance suddenly takes a nose dive. There are some that have excellent cooling - seek out those reviews if you can Last edited by diablomix#4350 on Jun 3, 2019, 5:10:39 PM

" this is a mobile rtx 2060 i doubt it's better than a 1080TI for desktop and that site doesn't seem to have a mobile rtx 2060 benchmark. |

Yea it can, I wish I had that good of a laptop lol.

" might undervolt the cpu if there's any problems with heat |

" They are exactly the same chip set, that's what it means that they have the same name. The difference between different builds of any graphics card is layout and cooling. The laptop will likely have less cooling, but that just means that you shouldn't try to overclock it. The base performance should be close enough to exactly the same that the average user won't know the difference. |
