Is flicker strike + cast while channeling a good idea?

I never played a flicker strike build before.

The Theorie is: cyclone+cwc+flicker strike+3 support gems. When flicker strike hits cyclone will also hit. Basicly doubling the effect of the 3 support gems.
The legion encounters look very clustered allowing very fast hoping between the enemys.

Flicker strike is an attack, not a spell. CWC won't work with it.

Flickr strike can be used with CoC and spell. You need a char with a lot of attack-based-crits, + spell damage, so really upperright side of the tree.
Usually done with ice nova and potentially another spell.

Cyclone with lots of move & attack speed.
Another physical spell (blade vortex synergizes quite well).

Phys conversion to X

Cyc>CWC>BV>Duration>AoE/CE

cyclone blade vortex/the new sand blood skill is obviously pretty good (especially with the new aoe ascendency) i think it will be the top meta build and kinda expensive.

Or go full fire conversion cyclone and CWC Wave of Conviction to debuff enemies before rolling them over.

Flicker Strike CoC BV was the most fun build I did in very long time. Cyclone CwC BV should be very strong as well.

This is the legit actual build -

Trypanon - corrupted w Inc AoE
-Cyclone (level 21)
-Cast while Channeling
-Body Swap
-Raise Zombie
-Poison
-Fortify

HoaG (in either ilvl 86 elder +3 Minion gems helm or The Embalmer with Commandment of Reflection and corrupted with Temp Chains)

BV is a good fit structurally but then you have to get a good amount of global physical or spell damage, which may make for an odd tree. Unless you go minion damage with spiritual aid which boosts both. Also BV doesn't help with screen clear or speed meta.

Cyclone CWC Ice Spear with phys to cold conversion might be nice and help with screen clear.

As someone mentioned CWC Wave of Conv. has synergy.

Or fire conversion CWC Firestorm for good screen clear as well, though you'd have to gem swap to pure Cyclone for T16+ bosses.
