Cyclone w/ CwC.. Will there be changes to the CD or is this playstyle now dead?

As it stands, this change with Cyclone to channeling will ruin the on trigger playstyle by reducing trigger effects by half on a crit based build.

Why would adding the "channeling" tag ruin CoC builds? I cant follow you here.

CoC cooldown is 0.15 sec.
CwC cooldown is 0.35 sec. So you are getting less then half the triggers, plus the damage multiplier on the gem is much less. |

True, but you dont need to invest in crit chance. You dont need to invest in accuracy since you dont need to hit things, just channel the ability. So to trigger CwC takes less ressources/has less conditions than to trigger CoC.
Im not saying they are on par with each other. I think CoC has more damage because crit is the way to go for hit builds right now, so youre gonna invest in crit chance and multi anyway. Also that more multi on coc is great and weird. But its a little too early to judge, since new supports/buffs/nerfs might change all of this. |

Will at least work with Blade Vortex since the cast speed doesn't count for BV.
