Spell casters using a bow

Anyone else thinks it's dumb to use a soulrend with the bow equipped to get the maximum DPS? Although I am not against total freedom of choice, I find it silly that SPELL users benefit more from a BOW than for example a wand.

Entire point is freedom of choice that's what makes poe good so no w/e you saying is sillier.

They just copy the most successful ARPG out there. In Diablo 3 the wizard's solution for more DPS is also a bigger axe.

The only reason it is silly: quivers.
With a 2h staff no quiver to add some res-life-crit. So yea it is stupid. Poe Pvp experience

I've heard casting from a bow will be disallowed in a future patch, is this mistaken?
