PS4 Low life Righteous Fire darkens the screen

I linked the skill blood magic with purity of fire, which causes the skill to use health instead of mana. This drops the health level down to where there is a screen effect that takes over to alert the player of being close to death. It gets dark and then the next stage is all the red streaks letting you know you are about done.

With this skill activated the screen stays in the dark stage without the red streaks and is fine in outside and well lit areas. But inside maps are almost impossible to see what is going on. I checked the options and didn't see a toggle to turn this effect off. Would love to see a way to disable the screen darkening in a future patch though!

Because of the open-ended and deep nature of the game, there are lots of peculiar situations and conditions we can be in, that we have done by choice. Automatic responses to those conditions, such as the screen effect at low-life, should be toggleable because as you say it negatively impacts your ability to play the game while the build-idea itself is sound.

In a similar vein, those of us who run low-mana builds (ie. reserve the majority of it for auras) are finding that the game likes to constantly remind us to drink a mana potion for exactly the same reason.

In my case I have two characters affected by the mana-potion reminder. One didn't even need to use mana directly, so removing all mana potions seems to work as a band-aid fix. The other still has need to occasionally drink a mana potion in desperate times (due to MoM, meaning if she takes too much damage at once she just can't attack back or even dash away so I have to pop a potion quick to survive) and that means I can't ever totally get rid of the message during inappropriate times for her.

So we should just be able to toggle-off low-life/low-mana warnings in the settings, in order to address these specific situations that are really annoying otherwise.
