[PS4] Does the Online ID change for PS4 affect progress in PoE?

I’m just wondering before i do it, I don’t wanna change it then I lose all my progress

Nope didn't change anything your fine to proceed. Only thing is the forums doesn't reflect the name change but all good inside the game.
