I doubt GGG will add Chinese-Mandarin/Cantonese language support to the international version (Steam/Standalone). As it would take away the appeal of the Tencent/China POE client.
If you want to play in your local language, you have to use the Tencent-China POE client. Last edited by RPGNoobANKA#0714 on Mar 22, 2019, 10:33:02 PM

There is no doubt in that matter since this will never happen. Tencent owns and control GGG = have there own version of the game that is uniq for china.

And that's very annoying. If you're a non Chinese living in China you have no reason to use the Chinese version. We just need a server that works well from China on the international version, nothing else. I can only play from 2 am to noon and it's very frustrating. I didn't know that GGG was own by Tencent though, it really sucks.

I am an expat living in Beijing, China and play PoE without any major issues.
Singapore and Tokyo servers are best for us (80ms and 50ms ping from here). I am not sure what internet and ISP you use, perhaps send me a private message or add me on wechat and I can try to help you out (wx:partylikeits1999) I think we can all agree that playing online from here generally speaking is a pain... get used to SP games and consoles XD. |

China Telecom in Shanghai's countryside (1,5h from downtown). Ping goes between 400 to 900 right now at 11pm. It'll be better at around 1/2 am. I can only play on US Texas server, sometimes DC. Japan shows me a ping that's half the other servers but pratically it doesn't work like it shows. It often goes to ? after 30 minutes. I'm moving back downtown in a couple months, hope it'll be better.
