How do defeat act9 shavronne without dying?

If I stand still even for a second I die. I have max resist with 3k life my character requires me to stand still to attack and with the speed and frequency of her attacks its not something I can just watch out for and avoid.

Shavronne? In Act9? Oh! That Shsvronne. Don't know really. With 3 k life and enough DPS you should have no problem with her. Maybe buff your resistances, or DPS? Or whisp me, I will kill her for you.

Na I killed her just took 4 deaths. Just want to know for next time I go through because I try to avoid death if at all possible. So far everything has felt fair enough innocence being the only other one that annoys me but not nearly as much as she does. All my deaths so far I can say are my own fault but these 4 just seemed unavoidable

There are 3 powerful defensive layers for early game and leveling:
1. More Damage. My Divine Ire trickster obliterated Shavronne in two beams. I dont think she attacked at all. Dead enemies deal no damage. Sounds and is obvious, but is very effective in a game like PoE. 2. Taunt. A decoy totem is one of the strongest defensive tools unless we are talking about the true endgame, when all bosses are unaffected by taunt. 3. Enfeeble/Temporal chains. If your build requires standing around for more than a second, defensive curses are close to mandatory. |

" That´s wrong. Taunt will effect the bosses (it has been changed a few bigger patches ago). TO OP: just add that 3k life is good for caster (ranged) character but if you need to stay closer you should aim closer to 4K life You should also add more layers of defense (not just resistance) Evasion (stibnite flask), fortify, enfeeble, flasks, end charges … To the Shavronne, Unbound in act 9 - she deals lightning damage mostly. You should use Topaz flask with shock imunity (or at least shock imunity on flask). Dealing enough damage (having high dps) and avoiding his attacks is also possible strategy (for softcore). " According to wiki Shaper and friends are no longer immune to taunt, but still wont change their target when taunted. PoE wording is not always consistent, but I would call such a state "unaffected" as seen as similiar situations like "unaffected by burning ground", etc. As far as I know it was made to not unintentionally nerf the champion ascendancy. More importantly decoy totems do nothing to them. |
