No PackCheck.exe available in my Path Of Exile folder
|
I have the folder on another drive (which My Documents is linked too)
Maybe that's why I can't find it? Anyone know where it is or if I can download it somewhere? Thanks Last bumped on Mar 13, 2019, 6:02:51 PM

Which folder are you expecting it to be in?
PackCheck.exe has nothing to do with My Documents. It's in the game's install folder. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.

"No PackCheck.exe available in my Path Of Exile folder" as title says...
The POE folder is in my Documents folder which is in my D:/ drive. D drive being the extra drive not the normal C:/ drive which Windows is installed. Last edited by moodygamer123#1186 on Mar 13, 2019, 1:15:23 PM

If you use the Steam Client:
Open Steam. Library. Path of Exile. Right click properties of Path of Exile. Select in opened up Properties windows the tab "Local Files." There click Browse Local Files ... Windows Explore will open with your Steam POE folder: https://imgur.com/a/XHixqfq With PackCheck. You can also check the installation integrity via Steam in the same tab Local Files where you find "Browse Local Files...". It is called "Verify Integrity of Game Files ..." If you used the Standalone Client install: You can find your installation folder via the Desktop Shortcut (or in the Windows Start Menue). Right-click the desktop shortcut, select properties. And in the General Tab you will find under "Location:" the location of your POE installation. The My Documents/My Games/Path of Exile Folder is a Windows Games feature that Windows compatible (certified) games use for local user files. My Documents/My Games/Path of Exile is NOT the installation folder itself. That some Steam installations handle this differently, does not make it less confusing for the layman, where your files are: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/01/23/stop-it-put-save-games-in-one-place/ Last edited by RPGNoobANKA#0714 on Mar 13, 2019, 2:14:30 PM

Thanks RPGNoobANKA.
Wasn't going to leave OP hanging, but really didn't want to have to respond to that. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.
