I am trying to change the CPU priority level for the game. Can anyone suggest if this method https://silicophilic.com/change-cpu-priority-level/ which works for other programs will also work for the game? Yeah it should work, just try the first method which will only be active until you shut the game down first and see if it helps. Tbh if you're hoping for some massive performance boost it's probably not going to happen but give it a go and see.

Can you right click it in the task manager, and assign priority there?
