I had this problem aswell. It got resolved after steam client installed directx for counter strike source. So I guess it relies on older DX.

Yeah it could be you are missing DirectX9, which doesn't come with DirectX11 btw, but is in the redist folder of your PoE folder.

same error i got 1 min ago. fixed it by installing directx from PoE folder.

I just installed PoE and am receiving similar messages. DXUT createdevice failed. I tried the dx set up in program files and still get the message.

" You need to post your own thread rather than bumping an old thread. As for your problem, it is probably that your system doesn't meet the requirements, but it's hard to say for sure without a DxDiag export. Please post a brand new thread with the errors you are getting and a dxdiag (please put it in a spoiler tag to keep the new thread clean). Then we can look at it and assist you more. |
