Autorun toggle please.

Promising looking game so far.
However a small quality of life suggestion for those of us who have nerve issues and therefore cant hold a mouse button down for hours. Have some way to toggle running, maybe a modifier key or something. Thanks :) Last bumped on Aug 15, 2016, 12:20:13 AM

"Uh, I'm pretty sure people's nerve issues are going to be higher priority to them than your concern about playing carelessly. "Gee, playing this game is uncomfortable/painful, but I wouldn't want some guy on the internet to think I'm careless, so I'll just put up with it" "<3" Last edited by GusTheCrocodile#5954 on Mar 31, 2012, 11:01:37 PM

Well, it's point-and-click, so technically, you don't have to hold any mouse button down. Another fix is to "not" play for hours on end.

If you want to demonstrate why the suggested feature would be a problem, why it wouldn't work, please do. But "it works in other genres" and "games in this genre haven't had it before" are not counterarguments of any kind. I can't think of any games in this genre that had you collecting gems to put in sockets with support gems to gain active skills, but that's in the game. Sometimes new ideas do come along.

I have problems after holding the mouse down for more then a few minutes never mind hours.
As for how this would work perhaps a latch key on keyboard to press to "hold" run, then press it again to release.. |

WoW was top looking down like this game... Though it had a moveable camera and such. They did indeed have an auto run and I googled to find this forum post. It would be really nice, like someone said, for clearing areas. The one from WoW worked fine. You press num lock to turn on auto run. If you press any other movement or press num lock again it canceled the auto run.
For this game I think, you put your cursor in the direction you want to start running, and press the button. Character starts moving that direction. Last edited by Vexxer#3338 on Feb 11, 2013, 1:18:54 AM

It's 2015. I'm disappointed not finding an auto-run toggle.
Simply going toward the direction of the mouse would've been really easy to use. When mouse points to the player (or center of the screen) character can stop. Simple change, major improvement imo. |
