How many players at once?

I'm curious, how many people can play together at once in this game? Is it capped at 8 players like D2?

i have not tested it since the patch that made the party system better but im pretty sure its 5

Max in a party is 6. Max in an area, on the other hand, is much higher.

Can u plz tell me how to set up a 2player Party? I cant find my friend (but i can whisper him) How to add him? When we go both in Town, we cant find each other... Why we cant find us? thx for Help! |

Servers doesn't matter (just lags if you're on different servers).
right click the person's message from the chat and select "invite to party" You can also type "/invite <character name>" Fresh cakes for all occasions.
