[Newbie] So in Synthesis I want to farm the Atoll map

According to this ( https://i.imgur.com/LkNELWi.jpg ) graphic, Atoll will be a T3 map that requires me to complete Ramparts and Iceberg first. Is there a way to make Atoll maps drop frequently most of the time? I'm going to play SSF next league, so I'm curious whether it's worth editing the maps in any way, e.g. if I use an Alch orb on an Atoll map, will I get that Alch ob back without trading?

At T3 this is no problem.

Unlock all T1s.
Unlock all T2s.
Atoll is your only T3 unlocked.
Optional: Shape any T4s atoll connects to so they are T9(requires running up the atlas a bit). EDIT: you actually need to go all the way up to unlocking the elder orb for this because it has two adjacent T4s and you have to elder one of those and shape the other.
You can now sustain atolls on alch and go(atoll will be the only T3 that ever drops while running atolls).

Whether you sustain alchs is a bit trickier. Alch sustain depends on your IIQ and how much trash you pick up and vendor. So you might have to buy alchs if you’re just div card farming.

In practice you should be able to 'alch and go' without any worry.

I've never traded for alchs, and i've never run out when mapping. Just dont use them for other stuff (use essences or something else).

Probably just likes the layout, its pretty decent. Shame it has the worst density of all T3 maps and only one map in the whole game has worse density overall.

If that is the case, then Jungle Valley would be a better choice. Its the same tier, only has one t4 map adjecent to shape up and has better density, and the layout is decent. Unless he likes Atoll layout more.

yeah, I would definitely choose Jungle Valley, but I dont fear that huge chaos damage spider :)

That's why I asked because these maps are empty as fuck.
