I have a similar issue with a USB DAC/AMP (Fiio K3). Every other game I've played has had no issues, but when I go into the options, it shows that No Device Found (No drivers found). There seems to be an issue with USB based sound devices and this game. I really wanted to try it out starting this new league, but no sound equals no go for me.

If I understand you correctly, the game starts without sound.
This happens for me also some times (I am also using a USB headset) but I can solve it like this --> When the game starts without sound i wait until I get to login screen. then select options and then the game detects my sound system and I can login with normal sound. Any chance this can work for you also ? |

I've tried this and it does not help. I wait until the game has loaded and I'm at the main screen. When I go into options/sound - I still see the audio section greyed out.

I have a USB headset (Corsair) and works fine. As for everyone else. But seems that POE + Windows got "USB soundcard" problem, in some specific user scenarios?
Otherwise, if it were a specific problem to POE, not "detecting" an otherwise functional USB soundcard, tech support would know about it and have it in Consolidated Technical Issues & Guides Common Technical Problems. I imagine the launch option: https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Launch_options " Will not help in this case? Googeling some, the only relatable/reasonable assumption is this article about Windows and who has access to the device and who not: https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/the-most-frustrating-windows-7-audio-problem-solved/ https://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/f217/solved-no-sound-the-unsolvable-problem-take-the-challenge-594113.html#post3401894 Please explore this theory further for yourself, as I can't test this myself. The quickest test of this "access" theory would be to not run as User with some selective Admin rights on request (eg when installing a program, the warning pops up changes to the system are made) but as Admin. https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/4026923/windows-10-create-a-local-user-or-administrator-account For Security reasons please create a copy of your account or new user account and turn it into an Admin. You don't wan't to turn a normal usr account into a perma Admin account, for security reasons. Further on a 2nd Google: Please deactivate all other sound devices, so that the USB one is the only one, main one sound device. Two, try different USB slots (eg only the rear ones directly on the motherboard, not a front panel one). via https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/usb-headset-not-working-on-windows-10-solved/ And an FYI: This can't be a POE sound system problem as POE got a "off the shelve" sound engine. And POE can only read/use accessible/usable devices from the Windows device manager. If the USB Soundcard is still not recognised (as Admin + only sound device) in POE, I would post a detailed tech support ticket in the Windows Support Forum and Razer (ask other Razer users in their Forum, if they can recreate your problem. Or in their r/reddit). Same applies for the other user with the USB DAC. POE is a free game, and their tech support can easily download the game and test if they can recreate the problem.
