Need advice on how to fully upgrade incursion temple rooms

I don't understand how to get alva to choose the rooms you do incursions on, I've read a few guides on this I just can't get it work. I've trying not connecting rooms I don't need, not killing the tects on rooms I don't need, killing the tects but not connecting room I need. No matter what I do she keeps trying to give me a room I just opened then left. This is one of the few challenges I have left, so if someone could break it down for me, I would really appreciate it.

Ofc she will give you the same room over and over if you dont do it. Its like syndicate - if you leave encounter, you wont get new one, it will just repeat.

Do all rooms she gives you and pray to RNG (or just buy them)

Hope they fix this so that rooms have an equal chance of spawning. The "no identical rooms in a set of 3" is a huge drawback to getting the rooms you want upgraded.

The ONLY thing you can do to marginally help upgrade a specific room is related to what shags just said. Example:

If your goal is Corruption Room tier 3. Alva has 3 incursions in 1 map. If the first (or second) incursion is Corruption, do it, and then DO NOT EVEN LOOK AT the rest of the incursions in that map. They CANNOT be a room she has already offered you. So you'll just waste 1-2 of your incursion trips.
