Anybody else seeing fraudulent credit card charges after using POE store?

I'm not saying that GGG did anything wrong, I don't believe that they did, but I'm starting to think that the company they use for credit card processing xsolla, may not be as secure as they should be

So, I've been hit by two credit card fraudulent charges recently...

1. I used my debit card to make a purchase from the credit card processors for POE and 4 days after that purchase somebody tried to make purchases on the same debit card in the middle east (Saudi Arabia and Dubai).

2. I used one of my credit cards (not debit card) approximately 4 days ago, again with the CC processors for POE and now I get a notification from Discover that somebody has tried to make charges at 3 different well known on line shops (wayfair, Nike, overstock, Ummm yeah I don't generally buy $3200 worth of Nike's products LOL).

The thing in common here is that 4 days after each purchase with POE's credit card processor, the cards were attempted to be used to shop elsewhere.

There is no malware or virus on my computer (it's been checked repeatedly with malware, virus and adware software) and the other 4 credit cards that I use on-line (but not for any POE transactions) have not had any fraudulent charges made against them.

I'm not saying that GGG did anything wrong, I don't believe that they did, but I'm starting to think that the company they use for credit card processing xsolla, may not be as secure as they should be, it just seems too much of a coincidence that 4 days after making purchases for items from the POE shop that both cards get used for fraudulent charges elsewhere.

I have used some other credit cards on-line at non POE shop since the debit card incident and none of them have as yet had any bogus charges attempted. It's only the two that were used in the POE shop.

Ultimately it doesn't really affect me since the the charges made against my debit card were reversed and a new card issued, and the fools that tried to spend $3200 at a Nike on-line store were denied since it went against my spending habits.

I'm not trying to scream that the sky is falling here but am wondering if anybody else has seen something similar?

I havent noticed anything, then again, I use PayPal so Xolla wouldnt have access to my card information. I've used PayPal for more than a decade with 0 issues so maybe that is something to consider. I dont like giving out my card information, so only having to give it out to 1 company feels a lot safer to me. I know a lot of people dont trust PayPal but ive had no issues with them, use them everywhere.

why would you support the game after investing 20h overall playtime in 7 years?

You may want to check your upper lip if you're smelling fud.

Why? Perhaps because I didn't get back into the game until recently finding it on Steam. Then screwed up linking accounts so downloaded the free standing client and found the game to be far more enjoyable than I did back in like 2011/12 or whenever it was that I last played the game prior to this year

As far as supporting the game, I don't think of it that way. I bought currency, divination, essence and stash tabs, I got something for my money so I'm not supporting the game but rather buying something useful to me when playing.

When I first played this game (don't remember what year it actually was), I thought the game was overwhelming and well... crappy. I've now found a new found sense of enjoyment in the game and not finding it overwhelming or crappy at all.

Yeah I have a business paypal account, just haven't used it in a long time. I think I will for those websites that offer payment through Paypal in the future, thanks for the suggestion.
