Solution to Trading - AFK/Price fixing problems

I think it is starting to get a bit frustrating this problem of price fixing and AFKs when trying to buy things through poe.trade or pathofexile.com/trade.

I am fairly certain we are all guilty of afk moments when selling things as well so we are all contributing to the problem whether you believe it or not.

Solution:
An auction house I believe from GGG's perspective detracts from the community interactions and the point of having hideouts that you can show off which I agree with in most regards.

I would like to see a system where we dump items in "Vendor" stash tabs or the like where people can come to your hideout and buy your items directly from your store. It would allow us to just advertise our store in trade chat and poe.trade/pathofexile.com/trade would function the same way as it currently does.

I've yet to experience these AFK issues because I've yet to dive into the PC trading system. The reason? I don't like direct person-person interaction out of the blue. I can't bring myself to message another player who's not on the same screen as me, because I have no way to know:

a) What sort of person he is. Is he polite and nice, or horrid and rude?

b) What he's doing right at this second. He might be stood idling in one of the towns, but he could equally be doing some incredibly difficult content which requires extreme concentration, and recieving a random message could distract him. Or he could be doing something lengthy, where it's simply not convenient for him to drop everything, deal with a trader, then restart whatever he was doing.

You're bound to occasionally have people going AFK; it happens in all online games and is something we can't really do anything about. Some games have some kind of automatic system in place that logs players out if they don't interact with the game client for an extended period of time. Maybe that could be a solution here?

But at the same time, you might be assuming that any given trader is AFK simply because they didn't respond immediately or at all. As I stated above, there's many reasons why that could be (like the seller being preoccupied with some piece of content, or maybe he's far to deep in chatter with a different group of friends and isn't seeing your messages, or might not have private messages visible for one reason or another).

The solution, I'd imagine, is for the game to adopt a system closer to how trading works on XBox: offers are placed on the server, and completed by the server automatically. You don't have to be online for the offer to complete, as long as you have (for example) items on the server to sell, someone is able to buy them, and you can simply collect the currency the next time you log-in.

The only obstacle to something like that is the belief that trading should be quite difficult and awkward - if it's too easy to trade items, trading would start to become the solution to every problem that people go to first. This mechanism is used on console because there's no real alternative otherwise.

But if a blend or balance could be struck between the methods that retained the same intentional level of difficulty and awkwardness, while removing the problems of AFK or non-responding players from the picture, as well as making it so you do not have to pray the next person you try to trade with isn't a complete jerk, it would do the game a great deal of good.
Read the trade manifesto for why this will not happen:

Basically, the design of the game mandates that trade is limited and cumbersome.

Scroll down and find someone who sells what you need for more currecny than the cheapest sellers. This should help a lot of the time.

As pointed out in the previous post, it was not intended to be able to trade like this.

Essentially, this is an AH, if it gets indexed (like current premium tabs).
If not - no one would ever care to check 100500 shops to find a good deal... That "system" will be born dead.
