Item quantity gear worth it ?

I have been playing my windripper ranger on standart with more than 200 item quantity. I ran 50 t15 maps on that chracter and 50 t15 with 0 quantity wanderfinder and didnt notice a single difference Maybe some more low currecy and vendor trash unuqies but thats pretty much it. Should i just give up on item quantity gear and swich to pure damage build for more clear speed and defance.

I saw some demigod videos showing iiq gave him more currency drops (streamer RNG?) it actually works but didn't meet our expectations, how long have you been playing with iiq gear?

In my experience it seems pretty good for stockpiling things like chisels and alchs, but that's about it. I dropped 4 exalts in one day and 3 exalts in another day with 0 quantity in this league. I've never dropped multiple exalts in a day with all my legacy quant gear in standard. I think the drop chances are just far too small on the good stuff to be really noticeable.

You have to remember that 200 IIQ gives makes monsters drop 3 times more items than someone farming with 0 IIQ (before map mods). If the person with 0 IIQ can clear double as fast as the guy with 200 IIQ then the difference starts to be way smaller. SO, for IIQ gear farming it all depends on how fast you can clear compared to having full dps/movement gear. Finding that balance where you don't sacrifice much speed but still manage to squeeze in a nice amount of IIQ is the sweet spot imo.

I see many people in full IIQ gear that die all the time or spend a lot of time clearing the map then come in here complaining how bad IIQ gear works :P They obviously don't get the math xd

Having that said. Those people still get more currency/items back per chaos spent on improving the map density etc than a person without IIQ nomatter the speed it is done at.

My windripper is from harbinger league but didnt play it for last 2 leagues. Its been a week or two since i started playing again

I'm not sure what are you expecting to get. I can notice the difference just by ammount of 6s with only like 70% iiq.
Not sure how much do you have to sacrifice and what are you trying to farm, but you don't have to farm t15 for currency. Going for like t9 maps will make it so your clear speed stays the same with more iiq.

Not quite 3x. And even if it was, 3x more garbage is just that. Yeah you'll eek out a couple more chaos per run, but exalts won't be raining like men in hard hats bro. MF is a noob trap.

Oh on based on your comments looks like we cannot trust magic find anymore, (but mf works for me sorta) then you guys can now start focusing on some life and DPS instead

IIQ works to be honest, just don't expect epic loot dropping often. In my experience i get more noticeable small currencies/returns to cover my map expenditure.
