"Full Life" wording inconsistency

the "Full Life" condition seems to mean different things on different items or passives.

For the Damage on Full Life Support gem and most other things it means that you have to be at 100% life so it will not work if you have life reserved.

The Ascendants Slayer node and the Slayers Brutal Fervour node say "Life Leech effects are not removed at Full Life". Without these nodes Life Leech is also removed when you reach you maximum unreserved life. So if you have life reserved the leech will be removed before reaching Full Life. The Ascendency nodes however will also prevent Live Leech effects from being removed when reaching your maximum unreserved life.

This is especially confusing because the Leech related unique item Soul Tether with the unique explicit "Life Leech is applied to Energy Shield instead while on Full Life" uses the Full Life definition where no life can be reserved.
