Hi,
i'm french so sorry if i my english is not perfect ^^ I did a "machine gun" with my ranger. i use barrage + jewels to have more arrows. I play with frenesy and power charges to shoot faster and do Criticals. i use bleeding damages too. It works well but only on low lvl maps. i love this gameplay but i can't really use it because my dammages are soo bad. Check my character (tichees) and tell me if you have some advices pls. NB for the following: I'm basically a noob and I don't actually know if this works.
Having Curse on Hit/Poacher's Mark on your primary damage skill is probably costing you a fair chunk of damage. As you've invested a way into bleed/poison you might want to replace that with greater multiple/vicious projectiles and find somewhere else to put your poacher's mark. I've been planning something similar, and it will probably end up looking something like this come level 75 odd. (Going for Raider for the frenzy/onslaught). i've changed my bow and now i use an other way to have my frenzy ans power charges.
There are no changes, my dps still about 3000 ! why ?! |

If i'm not mistaken, you are using a bow which convert 50% of ALL your Physical Damage as Fire AND the Brutality Support Gem which causes you to not do any Elemental Damage with the linked skill. So you lose something like 50% of your total damage because of that Except that, i'm not verse in bow builds so i can't help you very much. (traduction for other to be able to correct me if i'm wrong) Si je me trompe pas, ton arc actuel convertit 50% de TOUT tes dégâts physiques en feu et Brutality t'empêche de faire des dégâts élémentaires avec le sort sur lequel cette gem de support est lié. Donc, tu perds quelquechose comme 50% de tes dégâts totaux à cause de cela. Excepté ça, je ne m'y connais pas en build d'archer donc je ne peux pas t'aider plus. Salut, oui je sais c'était juste pour tester mais mon autre arc m’empêche de voler de la vie et donc empêche mon amulette de fonctionner correctement et c'est embêtant pour la furie sanguinaire.Au final rien ne change vraiment, le tout reste tellement faible.
Yes i know it was just to test but my other bow can't use life leech and my amulet doesn't work correctly. Same as the blood rage. Finnaly nothing really change, i stay soo weak. |

Other things, you've only got 2 supports. Get a 5L and it will help and it isn't that expensive to craft.
Either, i've got Tabula in Standard if you want but you'll lose your 100+ HP Chest. Autre effet à prendre en compte, ton skill n'a que 2 support dessus. Si tu obtient un 5L, ça aidera certainement et ça ne coute pas si cher que ça à crafter. Oui effectivement, je suis en train d'essayer de dropper ce qu'il faut pour au moin finir le 4 links avec le support bonus projectiles mais sa changera pas grand chose, même avec 6 je ne saurai pas quoi y mettre. Je pense qu'il y a un problème de fond. Peut être est-ce tout simplement impossible de faire mal avec barrage ?
Yes you're wright, i'm trying to have at least my 4 links with the projectile support gem more but it'll doesn't change a lot, event with 6 links, i'll don't know what to put in. I think there are a background problem. Maybe it's impossible to deal really damages with this skill gem (barrage) ? |

Barrage is one of the best mono target skill if i remember correctly of past leagues. Maybe if you convert in elemental damage since you have a +20% Phys as Cold node in the skill tree near the ranger start.
In a second time, a Herald (Ash or Ice) and Hatred could potentially help to full convert and elemental seems easier to scale with some craft on jewellery (% Elemental Damage with Attacks) Barrage permet de taper très fort de ce que je me souviens des leagues précédentes. Peut être en convertissant tout tes dégâts en élémentaire, surtout que tu as un passif dans l'arbre de talent qui donne +20% de Dégâts de glace avec tes attaques non loin du départ du ranger. Dans un second temps, un Herald et l'Aura Hatred t'aiderais certainement à passer en dégâts élémentaire qui sont à mon avis plus simple à améliorer avec certains craft sur la joaillerie (% Dégâts Elementaire avec les Attaques) |
