No one exchanges bulk currency?

Am I doing something wrong?
Currently there are many people exchanging 3 chaos for 5 alchs, but no one is actually responding to my messages... Why are people listing this exchange then if they dont wanna sell their chaos? I want to buy around 20C but from the 15 people that are selling them on the same price, no one is answering...

I'd suggest checking that they have enough stock, and that you'd neither be clearing them out (they may want to hold onto a few Chaos), but also that they don't have hundreds (or more...) as then they're unlikely to be interested in what, by their standards, is probably a small trade. I know it's frustrating - when buying a Kaom's Heart recently I had to do several currency trades and it did take a while. Hope the next person you message sends you an invite. :)

Yeah I thought its easier.. After failing with the first 30 people. I went lower for a higher alch to chaos rate and it worked. So I guess I just had to go lower on the site ..

Unfortunately, on the currency site far more than the item trade site, the best offers (for buyers, anyways) are often by folks who're trying to fix prices and manipulate the market to their own benefit. You learn to start spotting specific names offering really good currency exchange rates across a lot of different currency types - the same guy offering the same great deals for jewelers, alchs, alts, or whatever - and who never responds to trade requests.

Those guys aren't trying to trade their currency; they're trying to snipe other people trying to match their currency trade offers and flip stuff around to invent profit out of misery.

Heh, my general rule of thumb is to ignore the first five listings on any given currency trade entirely and start at entry 6. I usually get the exchange I'm looking for in two or three tries at most. It sucks, but eh - people will scumbag around any time you give them the slightest chance. Just keep a good pair of gloves handy and wade in.

I always scroll down a page or two when doing bulk trades. It's just bots or scammers above this and never responding and if it isn't it's players who have sold their stock already and are getting spammed by messages.

The trade sites are slow to update also.
