How do I calculate my current mana?

I'm having a hard time understanding the mana calculation, it's probably very simple. This is my understanding:
You start with a base of 40 mana with an additional 4 mana for every level. Every two points of Intelligence gives +1 mana. Maximum mana can be added from gear. Passives can increase the maximum mana %. I am level 73 (292+40 = +332 mana) I have 308 int (308/2 = +154 mana) +24 mana wep +45 mana chest +17 mana shield +54 mana helmet +35 mana ring --------------> (+175 mana) The net total is 661 mana. I have two +8% max mana passives (+16%) 661*1.16 = 766.76 mana However, my character currently has 786 mana and not ~767 mana. Any insight would be appreciated! | |

On the bottom right mouse over your mana ball.
That's your mana. The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG

Just adding in, don't forget about the bandits reward, there's one that gives 40 mana.

The reason I'm asking is because I want to be certain of how the calculation takes place before investing skill points into max mana passives.

You have taken "Deep Wisdom" passive which is +20 max mana? and i think if you are 73 lvl you should calculate 4 mana for every lvlup, because you already have 40 base mana at 1 lvl.
So your base mana should be 677, and total 677*1.16=785.32. Yours actual mana 786 so it may be rounded up or smth. Bullshit makes the flowers grow
