The Devouring Diadem unique with Trigger veiled mod casts aura

The new Devouring Diadem unique can have the mod:

"Trigger a socketed spell when you use focus."

This works fine for normal aura gems socketed in, but doesn't work for Blasphemy auras. It will cast the curse aura, making me have to cast them again.
