Why is my atlas blank??

Ummm. I have a couple of thousand hours logged in this game, since 0.11 or so. Nothing above level 91 (standard, softcore) but quite a few characters and a few dozen stash tabs.
I only own one map stash tab (they're not cheap), and yet I have about four sets of maps. Only one of them fits in my map stash tab, which is rubbish. Now there's yet another set of maps. Ok, at least I can't claim to be surprised about that. One day when map stash tabs are affordable I'll buy another few. But my Atlas of Worlds is blank. In Standard. WTF? It was introduced in 2.4 and pretty much revamped in 3.0, but when it was revamped it remembered all the maps I had cleared before. This time it's totally blank, as if I've never been there. I don't mind a revamp, but I do mind a complete reset. Can anyone explain the need for this? Last bumped on Dec 8, 2018, 12:09:11 PM

Yea I find it weird as well. When I stopped playing after Legacy league my Atlas was at 129/129. When I came back for Delve, my std atlas was ~100/159, with all the previously done unique maps still completed. That was arguably a much larger update to the atlas than the current one, yet now is the time to slap a full reset on it?

See I would be playing the game instead I'm stuck on this forum because the game is fucked up. I suppose if you answer e it implies confused as fuck unsure of wtf they are trying to achieve. Sitting idle in town scared to touch my map tab and looking at all my missing unique maps on the atlas does not really qualify as playing the game does it?

Because they apparently don't give a crap about standard players at all.
If you run your highest level maps with the requirements to unlock the bonus (I ran a super-legacy t15 overgrown ruin rare and corrupted), it will unlock all maps of the below tiers at once from what happened to my Atlas. Unique maps ? NOP, that's the finger from GGG. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
