Unable to start game, several issues.

Game worked fine until latest league update.

Getting Texture file exception messages Several like whats shown in this screen shot.

When not receiving those warnings:
A: Game freezing on changing graphics settings.
B: Game freezing on loading after char selection.
C: Getting disconnected when loading to Oriath.

Solutions tried so far.
A: Switching from dx11 to dx9
B: Full game reinstall
C: Deleted production_config.ini
D: Graphics card drivers checked and are up to date.
E: Vc++ and Dx reinstalled.

System specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
8gb ram.
Windows 10
dx12 installed.
GeForce GTX 750 Ti

Forgot to say, most of the time i don't even make it to the char selection screen and the game dies as soon as i open the options menu or hit login.

Hi. I just had the problem this morning. I fixed it easily by following the steps below. I hope this will help you. It works for me anytime I have an exception issue.


1. Download CCcleaner.

2. Select "Registry" for cleaning. Start the process under registry.

3. It will ask you if you wish to backup the registry in case. I never do and have never had a problem.

4. The program will evaluate your registry and show a list of unlinked lines and junk. This effects your computer very much. You will notice in the errors found there will be the pathing for PoE.

5. Let the program fix the errors. Run it again to verify no remaining problems.

6. After complete, just run PoE and it will be clear. At least it has for me everytime I have had a pathing error.
