Error: Received HTTP 403 while downloading (happened in Betrayal first and now Synthesis)

While downloading new patch stuff I have come across a couple errors, though both are HTTP 403.

The first is in regard to a sewer hideout doodad:

The second is in regard to a dungeon doodad:

My understanding is the HTTP 403 comes up when the client is not permitted access to the file. Is GGG experiencing some server issues or something?

When I tried patching again it got between 50 and 100 megabytes into the download before returning another HTTP 403 error and it appeared to be the same sewer hideout doodad. Then I decided to uninstall the game and try to download it again and it returned the dungeon doodad error.

Anyone know what's going on, or if there's something I can do? I'd prefer not to have to babysit the download every 50 to 100 megabytes.

having the same issue here since this new patch started..

need to restart the patching every few MBs download.. and now Stuck at the last 31 MB, "http: // patchcdn.pathofexile.com/3.5.0.3/PathOfExile._64.exe" .

Anyone can help to resolve or solution to get around? had been restarting the patch download almost 150 times since this morning. Please help!
I'm getting the same error now while patching Synthesis.

What the hell is going on, GGG? Do I not have certain ports opened right? Why is it allowing me to patch other stuff but not specific doodads?
Yup, I'm pissed now.

Tried a "repair" and then the patcher went through allocating space and all that only to come up with this:

Okay, let's try reinstalling.

They're all doodads! All of my errors have been terrain doodads not downloading right!

A quick search of error 403 comes up with this:

The 403 Forbidden error is an HTTP status code which means that accessing the page or resource you were trying to reach is absolutely forbidden for some reason.

Why is the patcher fine downloading seemingly everything else, but it's stumbling over terrain doodads? Is it downloading from another source with a different permissions or configuration or something? What on earth is going on here?
Good news is I was able to patch into Blight without any issues. It went flawlessly.

I hope that means the issue was fixed, but I don't have enough information to know. We'll see how things go next league I suppose?
Update: The mid-Blight patch that fixed some pipe colors fucked me over. I cannot patch the game without getting the same HTTP 403 error on a doodad.

I just want to play the game! Does anyone know of a way to fix this 403 error, short of seeing if I can download it properly somewhere else because maybe it's my internet being stupid? Unlike before, I cannot use a torrent because no torrent exists for the current patch so I still have to go through the client patching service which always gives me the HTTP 403 error.

I am absolutely baffled that I always get it on a doodad, and 403 is supposed to mean my internet is trying to reach something it's not allowed to access. Why am I not allowed to access it? If I can download pretty much everything else okay, why am I not allowed to download whichever doodad it randomly says I can't get?
