Number of Password reset emails

Ive just had a number of password reset emails sent to my accounts email.

The email came from Path of Exile <support@grindinggear.com>

I only mention this as i have not requested this nor anyone who knows i have an account requested a reset.

The login into the forum used my previous password and I wasnt prompted to change it/incorrect pass etc.

I only mention this at it is quite odd as I thought my account was hacked who an attempt had been made. Alternatively may have been an issue somewhere else, and thought it was worth mentioning

Just had this same issue an hour ago. Haven't played in a while and suddenly got 6 password reset emails, one every 30 seconds or so.

Didn't click the link just in case it wasn't GGG sending the emails. Came directly to the site and can still log in on my old password.

Yup, me too today. Received 5 password resets, all within a minute or less of eachother.

I'm having the same issue after patching. It lists me as attempting to login from another location (which untrue: same LAN, computer, area) with a Hex-code number instead of the City name like normal.

I am familiar with this because I was studying from a different city a couple months earlier and had to jump through this hoop here-and-there to keep playing PoE. However, this time, I did not use a different device nor location to log into PoE, and I get this message.

Just to test things, I logged out and changed "servers" and it hit me with another email code to log in.

I have not logged into Path Of Exile in at least a year.

I also had attempts to retrieve my password this morning around 5AM Eastern Time.

I emailed support as well.

I also had this last night - 5 emails to reset my password that I didn't authorize. I also haven't played in a long while.

I have emailed support as requested above but thought I'd leave my feedback here as well.

What is going on?

Dear GGG, it seems that our personal data were hacked. But I won't believe we all were hacked.

Please, check you side. Problem is on YOUR SIDE. Please, protect our passwords better!!!

I had someone logged into my account. But!!!

Nobody can log into my account without e-mail confirmation! I won't believe someone used VPN to make fake IP. And that login was right when I was playing!

So... Please. Check your side. It is your mess. Protect data better, so we can be sure that our accounts are safe.
