Is there a website like poeex which calculates the worth of items?

Items dont have a fixed value Its just what you want to pay.

Ah yes, I understand it's a barter system. I was just wondering if there is a GENERAL value. Like punch in all the stats. Just like the poeex currency chart. It is just a guide but it seems like a pretty good one to go by. Thanks!

I'm not sure what you are referring to as a "general value". Of course there are stats some builds are looking for and others that most of the players might find useless. One could work out such a list and try to assign a value to it (perceived to be the accepted "value" one could sell at).

Comment: Regardless of serving as a "guideline" for initial prices, it wouldn't have a great beneficial effect on haggling during the trade, I believe. You gotta be sure, the item is worth something. If you don't know why, asking for a specific price seems very shallow to me. So after a short time you either way incorporate the mechanics of the calculator into your own thinking or you are dealing with items you don't really understand. (not regarding the danger of mainstreaming thoughts about items, if it is a danger? - not the topic though)

Are there any trading guides (how to assess the value of an item?) around at the time? Mayhaps we should write one. I'd be in. Gotta do forum search first.
