Choosing a class

Hello, this is my first time trying the game and watched some videos and guides but i cant decide what class to play.
so i want to make a class that has:
dual wield
attacks fast
crits a lot
makes lighting damage.
i hope u can help me choose class and build :D

You should be looking for specific skill gems rather than class.

Every class can use all gems in PoE.

Skills that deal lightning damage:


I guess you prefer melee attacker therefore you can consider Lightning Strike skill.

For completing quests (it may differ depending on class) and
via trade with other players.

do u did go over all lightning skills and i rly liked Wild Strike can u recommend me a good build with it?

I am sry but I haven´t played any created wild strike build so I can´t recommend any specific build.
Try to search forum (duelist, marauder, maybe templar) area or popular PoE
streamers.

Try to search for beginner´s friendly and/or SSF (easy to gear etc) builds.

You can post them too and we will help you or maybe sb else will recommend any specific build.

I did a dual wield Shadow with Lighting Strike a while back. Very powerful but it's not a newbie build. A dual wield Duelist/Gladiator with Frost Blades would probably suit you better. The Duelist is more beginner friendly. My signature has a Duelist Wild Strike build but it is a shield, not a dual wield. You could probably do the same thing with a duel wield build though if you wanted.

Shadow class has an ascendancy called Assassin that is intended for Crit based builds.

I don't want to undermine your call, but Assassin is the worst pick for a newbie. Assassin has no defense, he will get squashed before making it to maps.
