Corrupted 6-link question. (Instant whispers for crap item)

Hello!

Today i tried to sell my corrupted 6 link vest i found, posted it for cheaper than Tabula Rasa (18c).

Within few minutes i got flooded with messages. Its not like the messages where one after another, but it was 6 or so whispers instantly and the rest followed.

What gives? Chest is corrupted with locked colors and shit stats (less than 10 life, fire and cold res).
Is there some fancy recipe?
Because using it is kinda pointless, Tabula Rasa at least gives you color options.

And how come so many people manage to whisper me simultaneously?

You can vendor a six-link to get a Divine Orb, which are currently 21-22c each.
