POE bad allocation crash specific to my account for the past 4/5 leagues

This is almost 100% not a hardware/software problem, ill explain



First the problem
ever since about harbinger league(might not be exactly then, i cant rmb at this point) this poe account has been experiencing crashing when going into a new instance/launching, I'd say this happens 40% of the time im entering a new instance, extremely frustrating

The error is always 'bad allocation', I can get it to work normally(not crash) by setting it to compatability mode with windows 7/8... This however limits my fps to a constant 15-30 when mapping(about 60 when in a town with no players).Now this brings in another problem which is actually crashing cause im constantly at 15 fps doing beyond+T16 maps


Secondly the evidence
The reason i'm so sure this problem is linked to my account and not related to hardware or software is that i got my friend to log in one day, Turns out he had the exact same bad allocation issue which only happens when entering an instance or launching the game

I believe during legacy league there was no issue i believe(memory's abit hazy)

-I have made another poe account to see if it crashed as well
logged in 10 times//went in and out if random instances 10 times
no crashes whatsoever. If it was this account it would have crashed by the 3rd or 4th login/Instance change


To people with the same problem(temp fix)

Hardware
GTX980
i6-6600k
16gb of ram (prev 8 but i upgraded thinking it might solve the poe problem)
tried installing poe on both my hard drive and SSD, doesnt fix problem

Other things i've tried to fix this(that didnt work)
I have already checked online and have not found a solution to the issue or anyone whit a similar issue.

I have played around with all the visual settings and directX settings but nothing seems to work

Uninstalled my graphics drivers and installed a fresh new batch

have reinstalled poe at least 2/3 times each league




Conclusion
The answer seems as easy as just making a new account but i have already spent some money on this account and don't want to have to spend another $60-$100 for stash tabs again(and various herald effects)

If there is any other info you guys need me to provide ill be right here, i'll be checking back about once a day. I hope you guys at GGG can help me out, thanks!

why don't you do a clean windows'10 installation, leave it with the Microsoft security center and then install PoE stand-alone client.
Remember to make sure all your bios/firmware and driver is fully up to date and that windows'10 i s fully updated also.

The crashes are specific to this account

I made a new account and didnt have this issue at all, but sadly that account has no stashtabs or sentimental value

I currently use the poe standalone client(I've tried steam, same issue)
(Really weird)

well your new account properly doesn't have any MTX's either.
Have you checked if it's a MTX problem?

But still I would try the Windows'10 option.....
