How do I get my item filter to show a Maelström Staff?
|
I usually write my own item filters (simple ones) using Notepad, but have been running into problems with staves, specifically the Maelström Staff. The filter will not parse it correctly when I use "ö", nor when I use "oe" (which is basically what the diacritic stands for).

http://www.filterblade.xyz/ > Endgame - Rare Items (lvl 65+) > T3 and T4: DropLevel Settings > 2H-Staves
once you come to this sub division click "SHOW" instead of "DISABLE" also Disintegrator Maelstrom Staff cannot be chanced if you want to chance a unique staff out of Maelstrom Staff so follow this if you want to craft a rare staff out of it |

" should do what you want. The Class, BaseType, and HasExplicitMod conditions accept substrings of the thing you want to match. Last edited by Abdiel_Kavash#5296 on Oct 15, 2018, 5:42:24 AM

Thank you to both of you for your answers - even though in the one case I should point out that I don't use the filterblade filters. :)
The sub-string suggestion looks like it works. I'll see (literally) what drops over the next few hours. Thank you again! This issue has been a nagging irritation for quite a while. Last edited by BellonaAgain#4206 on Oct 15, 2018, 4:15:22 PM

By the way, I was wondering if there is any place on GGG's website/PoE forums/the PoE wiki which lists ALL the possible conditions that can be used (and explains what they are and how to use them).

I believe this list is complete.
If you have any specific questions, please ask. I'm working on something related to item filters right now, and I've dug quite deep into some technicalities and edge cases. |

Again, thank you.
... And now I'm currently kicking myself for not having checked that particular page on the wiki. :) |
