Complete an abyss Zana quest failed (2 abysses on map?)

Bug report number:
3 810 062 073 Chose a 'Complete the abyss' quest from Zana. After activating the Abyss, I got the 'Mission Failed' popup even though the Abyss was still cracking open. I eventually completed the abyss and the Abyssal Trove appeared, but the quest still counted as failed. At some point while chasing the Abyss, I think I saw 2 different Abyss markers advancing on the minimap, but I can't be 100% on that.  Last bumped on Oct 12, 2018, 5:42:49 AM

" It is indeed possible to find two abysses in such missions. Say, you open the "mission" abyss (marked red) and then trigger the second abyss while pursuing the first crack and then follow the second crack rather than the one you triggered first, the mission will fail. Interesting. While this goes in the 'feature, not a bug' pile, I think there's a case to be made for making this kind of situation less confusing :)
