"Increases and reductions to minion damage also affect you." doesn't work.
Minion Damage support grants an increase to minion damage, yet it doesn't affect me. What's the deal? ~ Seph Last bumped on Oct 2, 2018, 5:23:45 PM

The modifier (and the same modifier on the Spiritual Aid passive) only transforms modifiers that apply to all of your minions. A support gem only affects minions summoned by the skill it is linked with, so it will not be transferred to the player.
Moreover, the main effect of the support is more minion damage, which is neither an increase nor a reduction. The words "increased"/"reduced" and "more"/"less" have distinct meanings in Path of Exile, and are not interchangeable. Only the quality bonus of the gem is an increase to minion damage. |

So if it were to be affected by "More" modifiers, how would that be worded?
I know there are distcint differences in the mechanics of More/Increase modifiers. The wording is very ambiguous. ~ Seph

"Modifiers to minion damage also affect you", if I were to guess. Lioneye's Fall would presumably work like that, if there were any "more" modifiers in the skill tree.
If you know about the difference between "increase" and "more", I'm not exactly sure how "increases and reductions" is ambiguous? It does exactly what it says. |
