PoE Uninstalling Itself?

Hello grinders,

I've noticed that PoE would be uninstalled anytime I wish to play it after a week or so of not touching it. Although I've never even had the idea of uninstalling it in the first place, Steam has deemed it funny to play that trick on me, which isn't the first time now. Why's that?

Selecting the PoE folder containing all the files doesn't actually do anything. Guess I'll completely reinstall and hope it stops happening again I guess?

What happens when you run PathOfExile_x64Steam.exe?
Imagine the lack of introspection that would be required to spend your spare time telling people they’ve posted in the wrong section of some company's forum, only to then try accusing someone else of brown-nosing.

I got some red error message but I can't recall what it said, and since i'm already fully reinstalling it, I can't check that for you anymore. Maybe I'll bring it up the next time it happens, hopefully never.
Woke up this morning and PoE was uninstalled yet again, lmao.
You have a younger brother?

Nope, all by myself in this lovely 1 1/2 apartment.

Edit: I do have a younger brother though.
