Turong = Too Strong
There is one type of delve trash that is way more dangerous than anything else in there: Turongs. They have way more life and do way more damage than any other type of enemy. When you clear to the next camp, a rare Turong encountered along the way is often much more dangerous than anything waiting at that camp. IMO this is unreasonable. Tune it down, especially the damage they do.

Nooooo those things are an actual danger, pretty much the only danger that is present in Delve journeys... No nerf good Turongs

I agree. They should be nerfed in the passages or moved to the encounters. I find them scarier than most of the encounters, which is backwards IMO. Although I do see the opposite argument as well, more danger on the road is also exciting. These things do seem a bit overtuned though.

Cavestalker's screams are equally scary imo.
There need to be some dangers, I really hope we keep those and they don't get nerfed. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

" Oh yeah, those too. Three things I fear are these two and the on death effects from the spider things. While I like the fear they bring I don’t think they are well balanced. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing per se nor would I want them completely nerfed (hence my suggestion they just be moved), but it would be hard to claim they were on the same level as their friends. I think that was the point. However, once you know they are in the mix they aren’t too hard to avoid. Unless you don’t see them until its too late. Monster balance issues are touchy. This is the way GGG always does shit. 99% of the new mobs will always be trash, but there will always be one that scales to asinine power levels when rare. Last league it was those Vaal soldiers who would teleport behind you and one-shot your ass. This league it's the fucking Turongs.
Frankly, I expected this. It's shitty and infuriating, but I expected it. This is a buff™

" Unironically, those Vaal rares are still there in the Vaal biomes and the dungeons - I had one surprise me over the weekend. I am only at around 160 depth so take my opinion for what it is worth, but I think the Delve is tuned very well overall (so far!). There has to be SOME sense of danger in there otherwise it becomes tedious. I have died several times in Delve when I cannot down overlapping mixes of rares and strong magic groups - a limitation of my character, not an overtuning of the league in my opinion. The only thing I can see scaling poorly with depth, and we have all seen posts about it already, are the unstable spiders and their ice explosions. Challenging deeper delves becomes how to deal with this mechanic at its core, with bleed/corpse explosions or shattering. Last edited by Slaanesh69#4492 on Sep 18, 2018, 9:37:54 AM
