I was thrilled to finally get a replacement/upgrade for Lochtonial Caress, then I saw the unique mod.
Seriously? Putting a mod that outright kills you for casting spells on the best cast speed item?
What the hell are you thinking GGG? Tone down that bullshit.
You could at least make it drain life only if energy shield isn't full, or at the very least, not take like life when it would kill you.
It could also deal damage instead of simply taking life away, that way we could build some sort of mitigation.

And I thought Death's Oath was limiting to the point of being unplayable, but GGG always manage to outdo themselves.

Too bad for the extra 5% cast speed, it looks like I'll have to stick with Lochtonial Caress after all, still needing a fated version.
