Immolate and Ice Bite Damage Type???

If I wear Abyssus, and I use a melee attack on an ignited enemy, does Immolate's added fire damage count as melee damage and thus inherit the melee crit multiplier from Abyssus, or does it count as just some ethereal floating non-melee elemental added damage? Same with Ice Bite

It's melee damage and benefits from crit multi on Abyssus.

Yay, and if a spell hits too it will count as 1x melee and 1x spell for double the immolate? Oh yeah, also minions hit it as well right it will count as minion damage then?

I'm thinking Cast on Critical Strike, Molten Strike, Immolate, Flame Surge, Ice Bite. The initial hit of molten strike will freeze and ignite, then the projectiles will hit and add flame surges + multiple immolate and Ice Bite bonus damages?? That will work right, Skiiiiip~?

They both function like any "added X damage" gem.(lightning/cold variant)

So yes they will just apply their damage at the %effectivenes the skill allows if the conditions are met.
