Idea - Immortal League

I don't know if this would ever be useful but seems possibly interesting.

Break between challenge leagues increased 1-2 weeks. This could be for other reasons say 3d engine overhaul or something.

During this time a set of challenges is posted to Standard League. Players can complete the challenges using any of their standard league characters and gear. Some players will complain that the challenges are trivial because of some gear combo that wouldn't be possible in a new league. But on the other hand those conversations could also be interesting, and anyone who finds the challenges easy can finish in a day if wanted, and move on with their lives, i.e. the main obvious weak point isn't suffered very long.

One interesting aspect of this is that there would be a venue for creating a perfectly tuned build, which many players can't quite reach during challenge league.
