Searing Bond Support gems bug

Hi,
I'm currently playing a searing bond build and I notice than 2 out of my support gems don't work properly. searing bond ( Red ) swift affliction ( Green ) ( 25% - 44% more DOT ) -> don't work combustion ( Blue ) ( 10% - 29% more fire ) -> don't work efficacity ( Blue ) ( 15% - 24% more DOT ) -> OK elemental focus ( Blue ) ( 30% - 49% more ele ) -> OK burning damage ( Red ) ( 35% - 54% more burn ) -> OK empower ( Red ) ( +3 - +4 level ) -> untested I would to know if the bug is real or if I missed something Last bumped on Aug 15, 2018, 4:10:51 PM

Support gems' descriptions state which skills the gem can support:
Swift Affliction: "Supports any skill that has a duration, or can hit enemies to inflict ailments on them." Combustion: "Supports any skill that hits enemies." Searing Bond does not Hit anything - it only deals Damage over Time. It also does not have a duration - the totem casting the skill has a duration; but that is not a duration of the skill. Combustion: "Supports any skill that hits enemies."
-> my fault, it is black and white in the gem description Swift Affliction: "Supports any skill that has a duration" the totem casting the skill has a duration; but that is not a duration of the skill. -> didn't know this rule not only applies to "spell totem" Conclusion : thank you for your knowledge. PS : Is it searing bond viable late game ? I died the first time vs Kitava's Ultimate Death Breath |
