Inpulsas Broken Heart

I tried this item with Arc traps and Ball Lightning spell totem and the "explode" does not work killing shocked enemies. If i use arc or ball lightning without the trap or totem it works fine. Is this intended or not? I've asked GGG directly and they can not answer me due to being super top secret game mechanics. Nowhere does it say does not support traps or totems. Thanks.

The traps/totems are doing the killing, not you. So the chest piece's effect wouldn't proc since YOU didn't kill anything.

Why should GGG waste time answering questions that a significant portion of the playerbase knows the answer to?

It isn't their fault some players cannot understand literal meaning of item's description. While there are some uniques with ambiguous descriptions, Inpulsa(and grand majority of all uniques) isn't one of them. It does exactly what it says it does, and nothing else.
