New Patch 3.3, Download and Queue

Hi guys,

After playing one month on bestiary, I’m prepared (and excited) to begin this new one, with all people restart at the same time, level 1 characters and empty stash xD

But I just have a question, because in France, the release will be at 10 PM. OK, I'm good with this, I will go sleep after and be prepared for a night of farm, like old time when I was a kid !! But : (and this question is more for people who already leaved old released of Leagues)

Do we have to expect some big patch downloading tomorrow a 10 PM, or we had already downloaded each day, some time, the patch, and it is ready on our hard drives ?

And do we have to expect a long queue, with thousands of people trying to get in in the same time ?

If there is a yes to both questions, I prefer to go sleep normally and wake up early next day to start farming.

It's supposed to be a torrent file (later).

Usually 8 hours before release as torrent and 3h before as client download when they go offline for realm rollout.

and 5min into the release, a new emergency patch gets rolled out :)

can i pre load if i start trough steam?

Yeah me too, playing threw Steam, so I wish I let the computer all day with Steam open, and should be automatically launched any update... ?

3h before release steam client will start downloading.

The servers will go down few hours before update launch, and everything will patch up during that time.

Then you will log in to be behind a 10K Queue to log in.

And when your queue gets to around 500, Servers will go down for Emergency Maintenance.

And when you try to log back in, you will be behind a 20k Queue

The only thing i've seen about a torrent is that they don't know if there is going to be one.

@OP there is a down time, the servers will go down a few hours before the patch goes live to give you time to patch, most people manage this and will be sitting in a queue for upto an hour as they wait to get in.

OMG... So I suppose that to be online at 10 PM is useless... Better go sleep and wake up early...
