I finally bought the Fragment tab. I already regret it.

When the Fragment Tab was released, I raised an eyebrow at the relatively small number of slots available and considered it little more than a UI, which I struggled to justify paying for given the abundance of Quad Tabs & non-upgradable-to-Quad Premium Tabs in my stash.

Earlier today I decided to buy it after rewatching the preview video in the tab's store entry. I was jointly convinced by Chris saying 1) that the tab can hold "up to 5,000" of each type of fragment, and, 2) that you will update it with any fragments added to the game in the future.

So a few minutes ago I logged into Standard and began amassing my fragments in the new tab. I was extremely disappointed to discover that the limit of Splinters from Breach League appears to be set at 100 per slot. While you can combine 100 Splinters into a Breachstone, this is an irreversible process - and Chris clearly mentioned in the video that this is a Premium tab. People often wish to buy custom amounts of Splinters and a tab incapable of holding more than 100 of these is extremely ill-suited to being used as a tab from which you sell these to other players.

It took me 4 months to decide to buy the Fragment Tab. It took me 4 minutes to regret it.

P.S. I recognise that Splinters would not typically be referred to as Fragments. I'm not here to accuse you of deceptive advertising. I just think a limit of 100 is bad and the "up to 5,000" statement made me think that limits would be set with it being a premium tab in mind. It's also unfortunate that he failed to specify what the less generous limits are.

I wouldn't have bought it if he had done so.

I don't get how ggg didn't add a slot for breach blessings
That too!
I expected it will hold more than 100 splinters too..
Just bought it few days ago.

Sad tab after all.

Ye, I got mine on sale but it was one of the worse purchases. The especially to hold Chayula shards some people are generally looking for some mid quantity, 30-40 at a time. Good to stack up those because they're generally not interested in the stones.

Also already mentioned, but no spot for Blessings. Like where the hell do I put mine lmao

normaly GGG fixes these things if its a frequent request and written in a polite way.
they did it to the currency tab a few times, just keep bringing it up
Sorry y'got hosed, Sarno. :(

I'm a big proponent of specialized tabs, but I almost laughed out loud when I first saw this dinky thing.

Almost a meme how ridiculous that tab is.

Nice tab. Who needs that splinters anyway. It's for stacking fragments and it's doing its job well.
But it made like this, so better for me to keep splinters in currency tab, so they are there atm.
More convenient.

It means fragment slots for em is no use because of that.
Are they capped at 100 though, sure it auto stacks as do several currency ones that were touted at 5000 or will it start stacking over 100 once you reach 5000 of the stones

I feel the same way about the div stash tab.

So far, my experience has been that currency stash tab + map stash tab + normal premium or quad stash are the only ones worth purchasing. Everything else is mild UI improvement but not really a QOL boost or space saver

What they really should do is create some type of all-purpose currency stash tab i.e. the slots we have at the bottom of currency tab which can fit almost anything in, but an entire tab of those slots. This way, we can put all of our non-currency items in there such as fragments, splinters, essences, shards, and such.

I was previously dumping all of my divs into 1 premium stash tab and listing them public so doing a ctrl-f on the tab, or seeing which stacks were blue/full was already working just fine.

Same with essences, I was dumping all into 1 tab previously and on occasion sorting through it/upgrading slots.

I think currency and map tab provide some organizing and QOL improvements which essence/div/frag tabs simply do not, even if the stack size improves, the features provided by the tabs simply do not provide enough to justify purchasing a single tab just for 1 specific item with no other utility if you were like me and already using a regular premium stash tab for this purpose already.

You would be better suited purchasing premium stash tabs on sale and using my method above for frags, essences, and div cards.

The amount of space I have saved from using map + currency tab is tremendous. The amount of space I have saved from essence/div stash tab is non-existent.

I'm not sure why I purchased it other than the fact that I saw ziz's stream one day and he highly recommended the 2 tabs, so after years of avoiding those tabs, I decided to give them a shot and was disappointed.

I felt the same way about the frag tab when it was announced and chose to not even bother. Thank you for confirming my suspicions.
